CAPL-16M tank truck
CAPL-16M aircraft filling lorry has been designed for filling aircraft by fuel (kerosene and petrol). CAPL-16M meets the applicable EU requirements for international road transport of hazardous materials (ADR 3) as well as safety and environment legislation requirements on utilisation of vehicles on public roads EURO II. It also meets specific requirements concerning military vehicles operation in force in the Czech Army as well as in the NATO member states armies.
Basic tasks:
- filling /emptying its own tank through its own pump,
- filling its own tank from an outside source,
- filling aircraft by gauged, filtered fuel from its own tank as well as from other sources in the open and/or closed, pressurised way,
- dosing additives to the fuel in volume corresponding to the actual flow rate,
- pumping fuel between two outside sources without running the fuel through its own tank,
- pumping the aircraft fuel off their tank(s),
- emptying its own tank by self-discharging ensuring the function of emergency discharging.
