Mobile workshops

Mobile workshops are designed to provide current repairs of the vehicles and equipment under terrain conditions. Mobile workshops meet requirements for safety and environment legislation requirements on utilization of vehicles on public roads.

Mobile workshop is assembled of chassis TATRA T-815 4 x 4 and fully sealed boxvan ZSK/PT. Mobile workshops have their own source of 230 / 400 V power.

Mobile workshops are specially equipped for the Czech army in the following versions:

1. PDZ-2T/72M4 mobile fitter workshop – for maintenance and local field repairs of undercarriages of T-72, T-72M4 CZ tanks and armoured transporters (BVP),
2. PDZ-V/72M4 mobile fitter workshop – for maintenance and local field repairs of armaments of T-72, T-72M4 CZ tanks, armoured transporters (BVP) and small arms,
3. PD-2ES/72M4 mobile workshop – for testing, calibration and repairing the electrical systems of tank mechanisms, of the T-72, T-72M4 CZ, armoured transporters BVP-1, BVP-2 and their undercarriage variants.
4. PD-OA/72M4 mobile workshop - for maintenance of lead batteries with fluid or gel electrolyte for the main battle tanks, vehicles and wheeled armoured vehicles.
5. PD-2ESE/72M4 special mobile electrical workshop - for testing, calibration and reparing of the electrical systems of tank mechanisms and armoured transporters with ability to perform basic level repairs of electronic blocks on the T-72M4 CZ modernized tank.
